To meet the demand of the worldwide semiconductor chip shortage, this semiconductor manufacturer is expanding current production facilities to increase the efficiency of their current operations, while improving the sustainability and reliability of both current and future production.

±ØÍþÌåÓý¹Ù·½APPÏÂÔØ’s partnership with this customer dates back 30 years ago from projects in Colorado Springs. The connections and successful outcomes of those projects lead to new work at their manufacturing campus in the greater Portland area.

±ØÍþÌåÓý¹Ù·½APPÏÂÔØ began work on their campusÌýin 2021 and has become their trusted partner through integrated design and construction planning with their facilities and production teams to expedite project delivery. Our work includes utility supply expansion, process waste treatment upgrades, clean room expansion/addition, expansion of power distribution capacity and renovation of office and administrative spaces.

Helping to Minimize Risk

To increase existing campus production capacity, the customer needed to implement upgrades and an expansion for a new chemical storage facility within their previously approved capital expenditure budget.

±ØÍþÌåÓý¹Ù·½APPÏÂÔØ helped by working with the customer’s engineering team to develop the site layout, building design, cost estimate, schedule and financing options to drive optimal location, size and financing for the customer.

±ØÍþÌåÓý¹Ù·½APPÏÂÔØ supported this need by sourcing outside private capital to fully fund the project and execute a forward looking sale leaseback structure to minimize the overall risk to the tenant.
