±ØÍþÌåÓý¹Ù·½APPÏÂÔØ is proud to have continued our long-standing relationship with United Airlines by completing the North Airfield program at O’Hare International Airport. Completed in 11 months, The program incorporates many components, including new concrete aprons and taxi lanes totaling over 1,200,000 square feet, a new Ground Equipment Maintenance facility for equipment maintenance and storage spanning approximately 140,000 square feet, and two separate buildings to house United’s facility maintenance personnel, bussing operation, aircraft move team, and aircraft provisioning/cleaning operations. ±ØÍþÌåÓý¹Ù·½APPÏÂÔØ fast-tracked the project because United Airlines needed to vacate its previous ground facilities to make way for runway construction at O’Hare. With a focus on safety and disruption avoidance, the team successfully navigated the complex nature of working airside at one of the Nation’s busiest airports.
